Adria Rae: her early working life

Her account of retail work, broadcasting and the move into studio production.

Work before studio films

Rae described working in retail and spending about six months at a financial firm. She broadcast in the evenings while holding regular jobs during the day. In the 2016 interview, she contrasted office work with the opportunity to meet people and work on a production set.

Broadcasting from Michigan

She began shows on MyFreeCams after turning eighteen and continued for about a year in her hometown. She said an approach through a broadcast led to the opportunity to work in Los Angeles. The interview documents her studio career from 2015; independent broadcasting came before it.

Choosing the name Adria Rae

Rae said her first studio had initially given her the name Aspen Reign. After another performer using that name contacted her, she changed it to Adria Rae with her agency. The early account explains the name in those releases while identifying two separate performers.
